First and foremost, this is a long time coming, right? Shout out to my first blog, SNIT Chronicles: Spicy Nikenya in The City, which was first called Single Nikenya in The City. Who remembers that? I started that blog as a place for like-minds to gather. As a progressive Black woman living in the buckle of the Bible Belt, I wanted to show and tell what connection, platonic and romantic journeys could look like.
I now know, creating spaces of belongingness is a not only a big part of who I am, but a big aspect of my purpose. So here I am, excited to get back to blogging and have my words and ideas land in a place that will create community. Here we will philosophy, question and explore. All topics will fall under the umbrella of magic, the cosmos, spirituality, and/or a space of personal awareness and introspection and how that affects people of color.
